Ricardelle
Vineyards have existed in Château Ricardelle for more than 300 years. Like the Chateau, Richardelle "Alencades" (White, Red and soon Rose Blends) are created in the South of France near the Mediterranean Sea. The terroir is a mixture of limestone, red clay and gravel. The area is similar to the California coast with its proximity to the ocean with cool mountain breezes - it's a dry and hard climate full of wind and sun. La Clape is one of the sunniest areas in France (up to 3000 hours of sunshine/ year).
