In the beautiful land of the Alto Adige (sud-Tyrol) lies Castelfeder, a winery in the heart the village of Kurtinig. Roughly 60% of Castelfeder’s production is white wine with the most important varietals being gewürztraminer, chardonnay, pinot grigio, sauvignon blanc, muller thurgau, and pinot bianco. The classic red varietals of the region, schiava (vernatsch), lagrein and pinot nero, make up the majority of the reds from Castelfeder.
